Publication Ethics
JOEL: Journal of Education and Learning is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal follows ethical publishing principles to ensure the quality, credibility, and transparency of the publication process. All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers, are expected to uphold ethical standards.
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration by other journals. Authors are responsible for properly citing all sources used in the manuscript and must avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and other unethical practices. Any conflicts of interest related to the research must also be disclosed.
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts based on academic merit, originality, relevance, and clarity without discrimination. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and avoid conflicts of interest throughout the editorial process.
Reviewers assist editors by providing objective, constructive, and confidential evaluations of manuscripts. Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited and inform editors of any ethical concerns or similarities with other works.
The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, or any unethical publication behavior. Manuscripts found violating publication ethics may be rejected, corrected, or retracted.
